illetve felsőfokú melléknév is. A fogalmazást előbb általános leírással kezdjük pl. az

egész épület leírása, majd a továbbiakban térjünk ki egy konkrét helyiség, pl. a dolgozó-

szoba részletesebb leírására.

My best friend, Laura, is a writer. One of her biggest interests is gardening, which is one of the reasons why she moved to a detached house. She has just moved to a large one in the country with an enormous garden. It is a lot bigger than her previous house. In fact, it is probably too big for one person.

The house is on the edge of the village. It is quite old and it has got spacious bedrooms, all with such beautiful views of the countryside. It is a very relaxing place to live. There is also a huge kitchen, which is big enough for an old-fashioned stove. The living room is also spacious, with wooden mosaics and a lovely fireplace. Laura is friendly and sociable – fortunately the house is suitable for parties and entertaining others.

Laura writes short stories and fairy tales for children, and works in a fair-sized room which she calls her ꞌofficeꞌ. It has got a relaxed atmosphere, though it is not as lovely as the other rooms. She works at a huge desk near the window so that she has lots of light. Her desk is cluttered with so many notes, sometimes she cannot find her computer mouse.

I think all the features of Laura’s house reflect her personality and interests, and this is what it makes an ideal place for somebody like her.
